This past Saturday we celebrated Alaina's first birthday. I can't believe that she is a year old. I heard someone say once that the days are long but the years go by fast and I believe that is true. My sister Ashley and I went early to decorate. We decided on a Dora theme because she loves watching her on TV.

After her bath and milk in a sippy cup (no more formula in a bottle!), she was out by 9:15p.m. and I had to wake the sleepy head up the next morning at 9 so we could get ready and go to Sunday School!

She is beautiful, Audrey! Looks like ya'll had a great time at the party. So sorry about her leg during Christmas. I know you were scared to death. I know, too, that nobody thought you were a 'bad' momma. I always said the worst things that happened to my children, happened when I was with them and could do nothing to help. It's a bad, bad feeling for a momma!
