These past few weeks Alaina has been busy! Busy trying to stand up on her on for long periods of time (now she claps when she stands!) and busy cutting teeth. We have had several restless days and nights, trying to ease her pain. She even ran fever for the first time with them. But thankfully, she is feeling better now.
This past weekend, we went for our yearly check up with Dr. Dennis on Friday. Alaina only weighs 18 pounds and 6 ounces. I tell her she is a munchkin! But she is healthy and happy and that is all that matters to us! She got more shots and her finger pricked. She was not happy when we left, but the nice people at Chick-Fil-A made her day when they gave her a toy cow from their kids' meal.
On Saturday, we got to enjoy some time outside. Alaina enjoys her swing so much! She is so content. That night, we got ready and headed to Hernando with Mimi and Poppa to see Uncle Shea and Aunt Ashley. We ate at the Japanese resturant there for the first time and it was an experience! We had a wonderful cook, who made us laugh after he made Alaina cry with the fire. But after the fire was gone, Alaina enjoyed talked to him and eating her fried rice! She also enjoyed spending time with Aunt Ashley and Uncle Shea.
On Sunday, we enjoyed spending time with Aunt Angela, Uncle Gene, Tyler and Damon. Alaina enjoys the boys so much. They can make her laugh when no one else can! We enjoyed visiting and eating hamburgers on the grill.
We are looking forward to Spring Break next week. Hopefully, I will have some pictures to post!
