Our First Camping Trip

I wanted a house with four bedrooms, large backyard and living area, a nice jacuzzi tub, a kitchen with plenty of counter space and a closet of my own.  Instead I got a 32 foot camper that can sleep 10 (I am not sure how) with a kitchen with NO counter space.  And suprisingly, I absolutely love it!  This past weekend was my first camping trip.  We decided to go to Graysport Crossing in Gore Springs, MS.  It is very nice and quiet getaway. 

 Alaina had so much fun playing with sticks and rocks.

 On Saturday, we went down to the boat dock to let Alaina play in the sand.  The more we walked, the closer she went to the water.



I took her shoes off so we could walk to the edge of the water.  But once she started sinking in the mud, she changed her mind!

 Saturday afternoon we enjoyed spending time in the hammock.

 As you can see, we really enjoyed our mini vacation and looking forward to the next one (which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks!)

Slip and Slide

A couple of weekeneds ago, we had our annual Slip and Slide.  Last year, Alaina enjoyed going down with me and Daniel.  This year she was a lot braver!

As you can tell by the look on her face, Alaina is worn out! I am looking forward to next year. Alaina will be climbing the hill and going down the slide all by herself!
